How to enable cookies in common browsers

Enable cookies in Google Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the bottom, click Advanced.

  3. Under "Privacy and security," click “Cookies and other site data”.

  4. Select “Allow all cookies” or “Block third-party cookies in Incognito”

    1. Note: Selecting either of the above options will ensure cookies work correctly outside of Incognito mode.

Enable cookies in Mozilla Firefox

Note: Cookies are enabled in Firefox by default. Users should not have to enable cookies in Firefox unless they have been blocked under Custom Enhanced Tracking Protection. For more information, see Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox.

Allow most cookies, except Cross-site tracking cookies:

  1. Click the Tools menu in the top right corner

  2. Choose Options

  3. Click “Privacy & Security” on the left.

  4. Under “Enhanced Browsing Protection”, choose Standard or Strict to allow most cookies except Cross-site tracking cookies.

Allow all cookies:

  1. Click the Tools menu in the top right corner

  2. Choose Options

  3. Click “Privacy & Security” on the left.

  4. Under “Enhanced Browsing Protection”, choose Custom.

  5. Uncheck the Cookies checkbox, this will allow all cookies.

Enable cookies in Safari

  1. With Safari open, click “Safari” in the top left corner.

  2. Select “Preferences” from the menu.

  3. Go to the “Privacy” tab

  4. Deselect “Block all cookies”.

Enable cookies in Opera

  1. Click on Opera icon “Menu”, then click “Settings”

  2. Under "Privacy and security," click “Cookies and other site data”.

  3. Select “Allow all cookies” or “Block third-party cookies in private mode”

    1. Note: Selecting either of the above options will ensure cookies work correctly outside of private mode.
